two white cogs, so you are outta luck. i dont have any experience
with them.

Intro
Some of you want to play dvd+r /dvd-r for your PS2, somehow
your ps2 fails to read it.Bummer. This guide will show you
how easy it is to tune it yourself.Please be noted that it
also depends on your modchip and LUCK. Usually it works, but
for some isolated cases cases it will not. Just try.

You need
1.A Philips screwdriver- to open your ps2.
2.A tiny philip'esque screwdriver- to open the top of DVD tray
3.A marker pen- to mark your original cog position.

First step.
POWER OFF YOUR PS2!!!
Open your ps2,Unscrew the whole thing.
with the ps2 on the top, carefully open the cover.
PLEASE DO NOT BREAK OR PULL the POWER/RESET RIBBON.
let it stick there.


Second Step
Now, unscrew the dvd cover, all of them.
Ok, carefully, with everything apart, turn on the power.
Eject the dvd tray, then turn off the power by the power button
at the back of the ps2.now you can remove the cover.
Viola,you can now see the white cog wheel.While u are at it,take
a cotton bud and some alcohol, clean that lense ( this is optional.)

That pic is showing the drive non ejected. The tray should be ejected,
so it will be easier.

Third Step.
Ok, take your marker pen, and mark the white cog's default position
This is because, if you f*** up along the lines, you can simply
readjust the cog to its default position.
Now we split:

DVD+R
carefully turn the cog one position at a time, one teeth per try toward
CLOCKWISE POSITION. one at a time. then you push eject back, let
the tray slide it and put back the cover. Try to put your dvd+r now.
see if it works.No?ok, adjust a bit more. One gear at a time.



DVD-R
carefully turn the cog one position at a time, one teeth per try toward
ANTICLOCKWISE POSITION. one at a time. then you push eject back, let
the tray slide it and put back the cover. Try to put your dvd-r now.
see if it works.No?ok, adjust a bit more. One gear at a time.

PS- if your ps2, after like 5 times of the adjust, still no go,
I would recommend you to stop. Turn the cog back to the default position.
Accept the fact that your ps2 cant read + - medias. sigh. If its dodgy,
sometimes OK sometimes KO, TRY TO REPOSITION THE PS2.i put it Horizontal.
Try it. Trial and error.

How To Take your PS2 oNLINE using backed up disck from games you own LEGALLY.
(because some people do LOVE their original copy of the games)
You will need

1. A fat PS2.(NTSCU/C)with Network Adaptor(Slim NTSC UC Only)
2. software called DVDECRYPTER
3. A writeable DVD drive
4. A software called Windip
5. A software called IDCHECKER
5. A list of dna$ IDs (ffind it yourself.)
6. Internet connection
7. A brain

All above software are avaliable in SKSAPPS.

Step One
Now you need to make an image of your legally owned game. Put the game
inside the dvddrive, boot up DVDECRYPTER. Look on top, the is a button called MODE. set it to
READ. Wait for it to copy the game.Place the image on your desktop.

Step Two
Now, since the image has been ripped out, we need to 'inject' the ID.
So, open WINDIP


1.Click Scan
2.After finish scanning, click verify version
3.Put in the ID
4.Patch
Please remember to select the image first, duh!

Now, you will have a properly patched image.

Open dvdecrypter, set the mode to write, set the speed at 6x, burn away.

1. I tried to patch ntsc/j game but it does not work!!
  =to do this, u need a jap ps2, and a set of jap dna$ ID.
2. I burned the image to a 30cent dvd and now my ps2 is noisy, why?
  =because you are a cheapskate. At least shower you ps2 with a quality media.
  I use verbatim +r
3.I have a fat ps2 (jap/PAL)but i wanna play ntsc uc games..how???

  = get the id, insert them, randomize it. and put it into windip before u patch it.
