guestx, I assume you're going to be the end-user of the Cisco equipment, and have no intention of reselling the equipment.

Ingram Micro and ECS Pericomp are the key Cisco distributors here. Unfortunately, since they're distributors (not resellers), they don't sell directly to end users. You can call them up to get a list of their resellers from whom you can obtain your Cisco pricing. I'm not sure which resellers are recommendable, but I can tell you which one to avoid -- JOS (Jardine One Solution).

More like bad experiences! (Note the plurality)

My very first experience was about 4 years back, though I only had to deal with their "technical" team then. Not a bunch of technical people, I must say. My employer had arranged for them to set up some servers (bundled with a bunch of software, of course) and firewall -- they were supposed to provide an all-in-one solution based on my employer's specs. First thing they did was to have all our brand new servers get infected by a slew of worms/viruses...... Apparently, security the servers weren't in their mind at all. The firewall rules were... well, inexistent.

So I figured, I'd never ever ever want to deal with their technical team, but purchasing hardware/software from them would be OK. I was so wrong! In my subsequent experiences (probably 2 occasions), I found that their sales team weren't interested at all in selling. Great sales people they have! They didn't want my business, so I took it elsewhere. Duh.

You might need to check with Cisco directly.. As I know, there are a lot of Cisco counterfiet in market..
To be safe, you should buy from authorised reseller

If you really want, I suggest you can look for SMIS. They are reseller for Cisco products and they both new and refurbished units. You can try to contact Mr. Loh at 0122381283
