well prescot temp shud be high.maybe u put too much AS5 i guess?1.2k is kinda slow tho.
conchunchun
If i change the fan to above 5k rpm...the temp will drop or not? coz i put at my table fan facing the cpu, the cpu temp does not change....

aiyo then how ? duno which one to trust .. LOL !
Doom
If ur mobo comes with MOBO utility software such as Asus, Gigabyte and MSI ... u could try it out ... usually it support temperature and fan monitoring..

or maybe u should clean up the heatsink and the fans.... after that apply a thin and even layer of AS5....

speedfan is kinda inaccurate.TAT is kinda a tad higher than actual temp so maybe core temp?like TAT,coretemp can use for c2d,single like mine cant use.

another thing that can make ur temp a tad higher due to overtime heat is accumulated in ur casing.u cant possibly remove all the heat.maybe a few good fan with good cfm.i like vantec @ Vizo coz nice to look and good cfm.some forumers says its loud but i think not that loudla if compared to nidec beta5 and tornado sweat.gif

the vantec spectrum and the vizo UV LED fans are EXACTLY the same. just branding and packaging diff only.

i think id86 is talking about the 80mm version... that one the vantec spectrum or vizo both oso same...annoyingly noisy
Doom
@mADmAN

agree with him.... the VIZO is Vantev with new brand name ... the same performance and noise level....

somehow it would be nice if the RPM could be lowered down .... it push lots of CFM...

Err, which size?

I'm using 120MM and 92MM Vantec Spectrum UVLed fans...

3 120MM, and 1 92MM, all the 3 120MM fans are kinda quiet, but the 92MM is some kind of noisy... sweat.gif

Double bearing means that the fan uses two ball bearing in that fan to make the fan blade turns easier and faster than any other chapalang fans that uses sleeve bearing...

is that mean it will reduce the noice coz the fan can move easier?

Yes, as those fans that uses Sleeve bearing tend to produce more noise than Double Bearing Fans... wink.gif

Which size?

80MM?
92MM?
120MM?

Anyway, i've said earlier that those fans that uses double bearing tend to produce lower noise [a little lower, not in a large number la laugh.gif ] rather than those fans that uses sleeve bearing... cool.gif

The noise still depend on the fan speed...

Which Vizo fan are u using? blink.gif
