Well, I'm on a 512k conn, so.. I was getting 45+kbps speeds. Which to me is insane since for 1-2 weeks I've been getting 5kbps on some of my well-seeded torrents. (Which was incidentally driving me nuts)

As for stable? Hmm I just started using this service a few hours ago. Came back to find all my torrents finished and so I need to test again with some new ones to see if it's just as fast.

Sorry to hear all the slots are taken. If only there was a free VPN that is for all of us here at Networks and Broadband eh? Ho boy, that would be great! Unfortunately, nothing is free, but Duock has proposed quite a sweet price. I'll leave it up to him to announce if he decides thats a good price.

But nonetheless, my experience with VPN is successful and while waiting for Duock to stabilise things, I might definitely try Virtual's, since he's in desperate need to get a good userbase.

Btw, I'm getting a "Proxy connect error: Connection closed by peer". Anyone else getting the same thing? I thought it might be because I set µTorrent to use too many connections. Any ideas?

Despite that error, u`ll still get the good proxy. That`s typical problem when u vpn to BT since I encountered same error message when using Virtual`s service

Hmm same here also. Could it be that the proxy is failing for the trackers but working for peer to peer?

All my trackers failed. But speed is decent. Definitely better than without the proxy.

yes it will affect the private tracker ratio ...if use proxy , you find that your ratio do not move at all ...

try use utorrent to download, other client like bitcomet it don works..

once we all make a lot connection to socks5, it will slow like turtle..so it will show the error...but it still making the connection

u can get max speed once you wait 5~10minutes...(utorrent client)

for those who wan use http-proxy

just set the port to 3128...for surf only....for torrent, i not really know it works or not

That is completely wrong -I use virtual's VPN with azureus and the private tracker I use tracks it just fine so long as you dont check the box marked "Inform tracker of limitation"

Ok after a day of testing, the speed of this VPN is as fast, if not faster, than virtual's VPN.

And, both will be appeared to be "unconnectable", unless you ask the owner to port forward to you.

But the thing is, as ocdetective stated, virtual's VPN can communicate with both private and public trackers well, yes there will be error initially, but it will get thru initially. But duock's one can't seem to get thru the trackers at all...

So, if you don't use private trackers, duock's one is fine.

ok i already change socks5 software, make it can handle more connection. it wont show error code again, just hope it will continue it like this

I'm now averaging on 50 to 55 kB/s using duock's VPN,definitely a far cry from the below 10 kB/s before, and most of it are international peers. The lowest I go now is about 30 kB/s, on 512 line. Thanks duock!

After duock's latest adjustment, the compatibility and speed become incredible.

It manages to connect to both public and private trackers without any problem, thats's a great improvement

That's a 350meg file on a private tracker without any local peer, all international peers, primirily westerns.

I've tested with torrents from china-based and western-based public trackers, they all managed to run fine, hitting max speed without a problem if the number of seed/peer is fine.

erm...ok...after using duock vpn...bitcomet didnt chg much but emule really go high fly..from 25kbps now to 70kbps ..will keep monitor the speed..
