i ve been using this AV about 2 month ago.work great. but now got some minor issue with PBT.

PBT? , you meant you're using Kaspersky not AOL AVS (Free Edition), Kaspersky is great. it saves my system quite a lot from Virus with its real-time monitoring

yeah..same as mine here...duno when they release the new 'free edition'..mayb next few weeks will try out Panda for the moment...^^

Kaspersky isn't free, those maybe you're using now is free trial, the free edition should be AOL AntiVirus Shield using Kaspersky engine...

...my free is another type of free...haha...now cannot update looo..

using outdated AV is useless. Kaspersky isnt good if its oudated

well, you wanna secure your PC, you have to pay, you want free, get a free edition, IMO, AOL AVS is a good free AV or you can try another free AV like AVIRA, i heard lots of our member gave a good feedback...well i'm stick to AOL AVS though

AVS and KAV IMO, almost same, as same Kaspersky engine . updating also very same to Kaspersky AntiVirus, so, in other words, i think there's almost no difference except one thing...it's free (AVS)

too bad it lose to BrO_AcT.exe/My SeXy.exe virus which is also known as W32/SillyFDC-D. now my pc damn sick and still can't find any solution. it just slipped through my kaspersky antivirus 6.0

i was going to purchase 2 years license. rough estimation is about Rm10/month which is affordable.

Wow, everybody so stick to AVS, maybe i'll give it a try later. Now I'm using Antivir, i also used Kapersky before, it is really useful. One time my friend asked me to send the files to her thumbdrive, you know what is inside that thumbdrive, ALL ARE THOSE EMAIL WORMS. Luckily, Kapersky can detected those worms and i clean her thumbdrive.

yeah..., lots of people gave good feedback bout this AOL AVS...guarantee no spyware unless you're downloaded from untrusted site...

AOL AntiVirusShield + ZoneAlarm Firewall + AdWareSE Personal + Windows Defender = peace of mind...AOL AVS + ZoneAlarm Firewall + Windows Defender (Real-Time monitoring)...

lol..if u really wanna use the kaspersky, manual update the virus definition database, don't live update. It won't block if u manual update it.

Anyone facing similar issue as me ?

My PC has 2 x 1GB RAM, but whenenever i install Kaspersky Anti Virus 6.0, my PC cant boot up, - it hangs at the loading screen.

If boot up with 1GB, it boots perfectly w/ kaspersky installed.

thats not kaspersky problem.. maybe ur ram not compatible with each other.

i agree with u guys...kaspersky is great...thumbs up! my frenz recommen it to me...i thougt just another 'cap ayam'.after installed it KAV detected more than hundred virus...geezzz..but now cant used it anymore...expired date..damn...what is the price for ori version?

try use memtest to test ur ram whether go tproblem or not.

when norton detected a virus , it will keep popup n said "cannot delete XXX virus" wad the hell???n nid go to norton website to remove manually.......suxxx.....

Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 really good when i finish install a game it say it riskware....in the temp file... i click deny and then terminate then roll back... then my game that i just install is gone my disk space back to the status i see...
