I'm not a Mac user (yet) but I found a software for image editing. From what I've heard it's similar to the GIMP so you might want to add this to the list.

Hi folks,

Thanks for the link - was using audio hijack but its not freeware -
one question on Bit torrent clients for Mac- been using azureus and realised that after using bitcomet on my thinkpad - the download speed is relatively slow ! comparisons done on same download file on two machines using the same net connection
im sure there is an explanation to this - perhaps i should change to another BT client ?

u have to buy microsoft office 2004(the current version) and install it in your mac.....the only LEGAL downloadable version is just a 30 days trial version.....

Microsoft Office 2004 is designed for Mac OS X....not windows....so yeah, u can install it into your Mac.

you can install Windows XP using BootCamp, then install microsoft office xp on your windows XP.....if this is what u mean, then yes u can....
EDIT: there are a lot of other options....u dont have to use microsoft office....check the first few pages...u'll get other alternatives.....

u can't download.. (it's illegal anyway.... pity those ppl who worked so hard to develop em)
but if u head over to Lowyat (software exchange), they can sell u adobe photoshop CS2 and aperture.

If u using the intel-based macbook, u can dl the beta version of bootcamp. Check apple website for that. Then u can install MS Windows Xp and Office. Or buy Pararell (not sure the right spelling) Its open MS Windows and MAcOsX seamlessly LOLZ
