the closest new ISP to go wif TmNut is the fibre-optic connection in penang
Susuwatari
Pusat bandar puchong using maxis line, so no streamyx, but isn't the last mile suppose to open already?
tzyzhing
more to a DIGI vs Maxis competition.

Very expensive lar. Try talking to their support, ask them offer you big big with cheap cheap since they just started. Maybe amatuer.

it's not for nationwide, and only for those fancy-looking condo only. the closest match should be jaring M015.

got some questions :-

1. Do you block BitTorrent , p2p and stuff like that ?

2. Can I use a router to share the Internet or is it only for 1 PC ?

3. Can I surf the net even its rainning (it won't disturb the signal right) ?
go lightspeed
Hi Prasys,

To answer your questions:

1. No we don't.
2. Of course you may use the router to share the internet.
3. No problem surfing the net while it is raining. Signal is unaffected by rain.
prasys
Thank you very much

Just one more last question , do you plan to exapnd your service to other parts of Klang Valley , for example Kuala Lumpur ...or the parts which are need of broadband
freako
yea.. if u do expand to shah alam...
i might consider getting ur service..

blackamikaze

i hope u can beat tmnet thumbup.gif
thunderbird
What is the radio freq that this system using? If not more than 10Ghz,
should not be affected by the rain due to the big polarization.
achw
Hi go lightspeed,

When you say next month will be expanding to Kota Kemuning, will Bukit Rimau area be covered? Bukit Rimau is just next to Kota Kemuning and I understand there are quite some number of people are interested in broadband internet access. You might want to put up some banners or signs to said that the area is now cover by your company broadband.
victorboy
hey new ISP..cool...
hope the pricing will not making us burden haha..
and hope there will service in klang valley / cheras here...

Hi there,

What about Seri Kembangan area like behind the Puncak Jalil/Lestari Perdana there. Up until today, the whole housing area still haven't got any broadband although it's near to Cyberjaya/Putrajaya/Puchong... I've been staying here nearly 2 year plus but the telco infra is still not up yet.

Is this what they call Selangor Negeri terMaju....feel ashame...
prasys
if you cover Taman Setapak Indah too , people will be intrested. They are lot of people here (i hope TmNut does not setup RTDSLAM in time).. I hope you expand the areas which they don't have broadband at all ,

hi go lightspeed,

2 questions:
1) who is your backbone provider?
2) will you be handing a dedicated wireless modem like jwbb or the defunct webbit or people can just use their wifi card ala hotspot.
unstoppable
will Puchong Utama can get this service next month?
dragna
Yes, would be nice to know which backbone are you on and what are your connections.
kelvin9986

ykc
Wao..I'm interested, is there any chance it will be available in Cheras, my house is around the toll heading to Kajang. My area don't have phone lines, I guess wireless is the only solution for me.
achw
next month is really soon already.. smile.gif
go lightspeed
Thank you all for your feedback and comments. Much appreciated!

Currently, the radio frequency used is 2.4Ghz, so it is not affected by rain.
Go Lightspeed is not using a microwave system (which is point to point). We're using a point to multi-point wireless RF (radio frequency) system.
Our existing partners are Jaring, TM, Maxis, Pacific Internet, Versa and GI.
Having our subscribers in mind, it'll be in our pipeline to develop hotspots, giving our subscribers the option to roam to our designated hotspots.

Go Lightspeed presence:
Bukit Rimau - we'll be on the way, as soon as Kota Kemuning is up and running.

Seri Kembangan - we'll definitely explore this area knowing that there is a demand there.

Taman Setapak - not at this point of time.

Puchong Utama - yes, and not within the next month though, so give us some time.

thank you yet again, and i'll keep all of you posted on the areas where go lightspeed will be made available.

sincerely,
go lightspeed
ykc
Do you have coverage at Cheras ?
go lightspeed
More updates in Go Lightspeed Presence:

Bandar Puteri, Klang - knowing there is a possible demand, we will be surveying that area soon.

Melaka - we're in the planning stages.

kelvin9986, which area in melaka are you at?

ykc - which area are you at?

thank you all again!

My taman name is Taman Lagenda Mas, but I guess you will have no idea where it is. Actually my area is near to the Cheras-Kajang toll which is just on the right side of the highway (if you're heading to Kajang). Also, my area is just next to those 3-storeys houses with fancy coloured painting where some people named them as Disneyland house or cartoon house.
dragna
Isn't that Cupacs or something like that
Crazymalaysian
Ah, so you guys arent using motorola canopy like streamyx wireless? Wont running at 2.4GHz interfere with wifi equipment?

I would like to inform the ISP's that Seri Kembangan area extends from Pasar Borang biggrin.gif ..... Why I am saying this is because most of the ISP's think Seri Kembangan area is only around Mines and South City Plaza. biggrin.gif Hopefully golightspeed sdn. bhd. can include the areas pusat bandar putra permai, puncak jalil, equine park, lestari puchong etc when they consider Seri Kembangan
azihas
u r right morrisage...

i live in lestari perdana for nearly 3 years and still no coverage and no telco line yet. i really wish any broadband company to cover this area. have been email to jaring but no news at all. call TM... they said infra not up yet... this is a chance for golightspeed to explore...
morrisage
yes that's right.....but the problem I think with the ISP's are that these are pure residential areas.....they may not get a single business customer with whose charges they are cross subsidizing the home users...Normally nowadays TM takes around 3 to 4 years to get the telekom infraup in newly developed areas. When I was in equine park I was told by my neighbour that it took around 3.5 years for the basic telekom line....
