My mom's 1.6a P4 can be overclocked easily to between 2.2ghz and 2.4ghz. You might have the same luck since your ram is capable of running at much faster fsb than the P4's.

no need if the temp is 55 n below..
but if u planning to use the overclocked procs speed for 24/7 daily usage, try find some nice heatsink to kept it below 50 all the time..

no worry....
because u always control your vdimm.
normally if u oc till the limit with a good ram.
Mobo will die b4 ram and CPU

I partially killed a P4P800 but by 2.8c and BT-D43 still ok.

u need to run sometest to noe wheter ur pc stable or not... try priming it..
bout d temp its normal..this is due to software prob.. jus use it as reference.. d bios one shud b d correct one.. but sometimes d bios 1 also got bugs..
u try first lor do mild oc.. if d psu dun kaboom or dun fluctuates much, then can use for mild oc lor..

I have a Pentium 4 @ 2.66 Ghz overclocked to 3 Ghz.
I found out that once I rise my FSB to above 155, my system randomly restart when I'm using windows xp after using for more than 30 minutes. My friends say I can Overclock to 3.4 Ghz stable.
Is it because of my PSU? My PSU output is 400W..

its depends on ur mobo, psu and ram.. anyway i think u can reach 200fsb with default timing if ur using right mobo and normal DDR333/400 ram..
last time my 1.8A can reach 160fsb (around 2.8 ghz) using normal DDR333 and Abit IS-7 mobo..
