It has nothing to do with the bios settings. Make sure your 8800GT's fan is not running at stock e.g. 29%. Set it higher e.g. 50-60%, like what most forumers do.....

Ya lor, don't be so greedy ma.....
For overclocking, the amount of mhz you can get doesn't go hand in hand with the amount of increased vcore. This means that at lower OC, you will need only a bit of overvolting. When you OC higher than that, you'll find that you need to increase the vcore much much more to gain that little bit of mhz......
Bottom line, I always go for a setup where higher OC results in diminishing returns, if you get what I mean.....
