For those who dont know how to post pictures on LYN. here is THE guide for you...

here are the few image hosting sites that provide good service:
Photobucket <--- good one.. i'm using this thumbup.gif
ImageHost
ImageShack
Flickr

this guide is for Photobucket:
1) register
user posted image

2) upload pics
user posted image

3) click on the IMG code to highlight it, right-click and click "copy".
user posted image

4) paste the code whereever you want on your post/signature/PM.

No no no..i mean i wanna post a picture in lowyat.net but gotta copy the URL in the small box provide by lowyat rite? which is:

http:// IMG @ QUOTE CODE

But the problem is what's the different between http & IMG?

How about "@" "Quote" and "Code"?

Each of them is different thing, move your mouse over the button and read the description under it.
To post picture, you just have to click on the IMG button and enter the image URL.

You can also directly type the BBCode instead of clicking the button, the syntax is like this
CODE
[img]http://www.blablabla.com/image.jpg[/img]

If you need to edit / crop / manipulate the picture, try googling for a freeware program or checking www.download.com

If you only need to resize it, try PIXresizer (2.2 MB)

Well melissabeary, its the same thing. You upload a picture on an image hosting site, and then you paste the url on the avatar settings page.

top left corner click on your name to enter your user page
now find the Avatar Option at the bottom BEFORE THE AD. because forum owner trying to makes more clicks on the ad >.<
